Steps
- Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Mix with flour and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough, roll it out, and cut into circles. Fold each circle in half over a piece of parchment paper.
- Let the shaped buns rest for another 30 minutes.
- Steam the buns in a steamer basket for 10-12 minutes until puffy and cooked through.
- Fill the warm buns with braised pork belly and other toppings.
