1 serving +
300g flour
6pcs apples
150g butter
10g cinnamon
100g sugar
Equipment
oven
pie dish
rolling pin
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Prepare your pie crust and place one layer in the bottom of a pie dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the peeled and sliced apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg until evenly coated.
- Pour the apple filling into the crust-lined pie dish and dot the top with small pieces of butter.
- Place the second pie crust on top. Trim the edges, crimp them together to seal, and cut several slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. You may need to cover the edges with foil to prevent them from burning.
- Let the pie cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before slicing to allow the filling to set.
