Steps
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
- Fill muffin liners two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting.
