Steps
- In a shallow dish wide enough to fit a slice of bread, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar until the mixture is well-combined and slightly frothy.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 20-30 seconds per side. The bread should be saturated but not falling apart.
- Melt a knob of butter in a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat until it begins to foam.
- Carefully place the soaked bread slices in the hot pan and cook for 2-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and crispy.
