69600g cheddar
116000ml milk
6960g flour
11600g butter

Steps

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for one minute to make a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Season the cheese sauce with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce and stir until well coated. Serve immediately.
